Water Damaged Floor in Phoenix

This hallway in a Phoenix home was damaged by a leaking water heater. The Before photo depicts the puddling water on the laminated flooring. Our SERVPRO WRT water damage restoration technician vacuumed up the standing water as the initial step in the drying process. The damage was more severe by the utility closet containing the water heater. The baseboard and some planks of the engineered flooring were not salvageable. We restore rather than replace whenever possible but not in this case. By setting up dehumidifiers were did mitigate on-going harm to the remainder of the floor and the walls.
